Registered Nurse with Operating Room expertise to provide care for
both adult and pediatric patients in a dynamic surgical setting.
This role is based in Lehigh Acres, FL, and offers varied 10-hour
day shifts with flexible start times and scheduled days off,
avoiding block scheduling for greater work-life balance. The
position is a contract role designed for a skilled OR nurse ready
to contribute in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
Deliver perioperative nursing care across multiple surgical
specialties including ENT, General Surgery, Vascular, Endovascular,
Robotics, Dental, Gynecology, Orthopedics, Spine, and Neurosurgery.
Manage patient care in the Operating Room for both adults and
pediatric populations. Participate in on-call rotations averaging
about 4 times per month, including Early Operating Shift,
overnight, and backup calls. Collaborate with interdisciplinary
teams using electronic medical records (Epic) to ensure continuity
of care. Float as needed within the hospital system, which may
include sister campuses. Adhere strictly to hospital policies,
culture, and documentation deadlines. Desired Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience with Pediatric
exposure required. Current BLS certification; CNOR certification is
preferred. Prior travel nursing experience is highly preferred.
Degree accreditation or a minimum of five years of related
experience. Active RN license and full demographic profile ready
for submission. Willingness to commit to the call schedule and
