Overview: This role is for a Registered Nurse focused on Renal
Oncology, delivering patient care during nighttime hours.
Responsibilities include collaborating with various departments,
ensuring patient confidentiality, and upholding professional
nursing standards. Applicants must possess a valid RN license along
with essential certifications such as BLS and OCN. The position
also involves physical tasks like lifting and extended periods of
standing. Discover your purpose with us! Position Summary: Utilizes
the nursing process to deliver exceptional patient care. Maintains
accountability for the care provided to assigned patients and
assesses the effectiveness of care from other direct caregivers.
Coordinates patient care in collaboration with other departments
while safeguarding patient rights and confidentiality. Performs all
duties in alignment with our mission, values, and service
standards. Position Details: Qualifications: Education: Must have
graduated from an accredited nursing program (Associate's Degree,
Diploma, or BSN). Licensure: Responsible for obtaining and
maintaining a current RN license in the state of employment or
compact licensure, meeting all state board requirements.
Experience: Relevant experience in nursing is preferred.
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the
American Heart Association or completion of the course within 30
days of hire. Additional certifications may be required based on
the specific unit, including but not limited to: ACLS (Advanced
Cardiac Life Support) NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) ENPC
(Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core
Course) CPHON (Certified Pediatric/Hematology/Oncology Nurse) OCN
(Oncology Certified Nurse) PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
PEARS (Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization)
S.T.A.B.L.E. (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work,
And Emotional Support) C-EFM (Fetal Monitor Certification) Other
unit-specific certifications as necessary. Physical Requirements:
Ability to regularly push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 lbs.
Prolonged standing and walking are required throughout each shift.
Capability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to fulfill
