Job Description:

A company is looking for a Clinical Documentation Integrity RN Specialist with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:

Review medical records to identify diagnoses and assign working HCC
Educate internal staff on clinical documentation and coding guidelines
Develop and support professional relationships with medical providers

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years working as a Clinical Documentation Specialist (CDS) Nurse or Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) Nurse
Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) or have a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Minimum of 3 years inpatient hospital nursing experience required
CCS, CCDS or CDIP preferred
Working knowledge of the Medicare Advantage reimbursement system and HCC Coding required
