Description Part-Time Driver – Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Immediate opening-30 hours a week (12:00pm-6:00pm Mon-Fri (some weekends) The Harmony Transit | Palm Beach County, FL The Harmony Transit is a concierge-level Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) company committed to compassionate care, professionalism, and exceptional service. We are currently seeking part-time drivers to support our growing operations across Palm Beach County. Position Overview As a Part-Time Driver, you will provide safe, reliable, and courteous transportation for patients traveling to and from medical appointments. This role is ideal for individuals who value professionalism, punctuality, and delivering a high-quality patient experience. Schedule Part-time Flexible shifts (weekday availability required) Occasional weekends and after-hours availability a plus Responsibilities Safely transport patients to and from medical appointments Provide courteous, white-glove service to all passengers Assist passengers with entering and exiting the vehicle as needed Secure wheelchairs and mobility equipment properly Maintain accurate trip documentation and communication with dispatch Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensure vehicle cleanliness and professional appearance at all times Follow all company policies, HIPAA guidelines, and safety protocols Qualifications Valid Florida driver’s license with a clean driving record Minimum 2 years of driving experience preferred Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle report Comfortable assisting elderly and mobility-impaired passengers Strong communication and customer service skills Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to use mobile devices and dispatch systems Qualifications Valid Florida Driver’s License with a clean driving record Minimum of 2 years driving experience Must be at least 21 years of age Ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle record (MVR) check, and drug screening Reliable transportation to and from work Ability to safely assist passengers with limited mobility, including wheelchair and stretcher assistance Strong customer service and communication skills Professional appearance and demeanor at all times Ability to follow dispatch instructions and company policies Comfortable using a smartphone, GPS, and dispatch applications Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA guidelines Punctual, dependable, and safety-focused Preferred Qualifications (Not Required) Prior experience in Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT), healthcare, or patient services HACK License CPR / First Aid certification Wheelchair securement or PASS training (or willingness to obtain) Experience working with seniors or mobility-impaired individuals
