JOB DESCRIPTION:

Baccus is an exciting and continuously growing technology company, dedicated to creating innovative solutions in the Automotive Aftermarket and Power Supply consumer product industries. Baccus is seeking a Customer Service Agent to join its Customer Service Team. The individual will be responsible for responding to customer calls and emails to address inquiries and resolve complaints regarding the products Baccus offers. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM Eastern Time and hybrid-remote. The role requires in-person training and occasional in-person meetings at company headquarters in Boca Raton, Florida, but the day-to-day responsbilities of the role will be working from home.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Interacts with customers via telephone and email to provide support and information on products or services.

- Applying learned product knowledge and utilizing instruction manuals appropriately.

- Fields customer questions and complaints; when the issue is beyond the representative's knowledge, escalates to appropriate staff.

- Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers' problems and concerns.

- Maintains records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, including resolution and required follow-up.

- Strive to resolve issues in the best interest of both the company and the customer.

- Performs other related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Customer service experience required.

- Excellent communication skills including active listening.

- Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances.

- Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bilingual: English/Spanish or English/French.

- Knowledge of automotive and/or power supply products.
