The opportunity:As an Inside Sale Representative (ISR) at ORBCOMM, you will play a fundamental role in achieving our customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. What's more, you will also join the fastest growing team within the Company!What you can expect:You will generate opportunities by corresponding with prospective and existing ORBCOMM customers, generating outbound leads, and following up on inbound leads. You will be assisting customers throughout their buying journey, ensuring a positive customer experience, and driving sales by listening to customers and anticipating their needs. To enable your success, you will be provided with regular solutions and sales training, including product and service knowledge to effectively understand customer requirements.At ORBCOMM, we believe in collaboration and thrive working in a team environment.   • Build relationships with prospective and current clients to give and get referrals, focusing on direct selling through a variety of sales methods including the phone/emailing/direct mail/WebEx/Skype/MS Teams/social media
  • Generate sales leads through independent efforts working with tools such as LinkedIn
  • Develop a prospective customer list and determine potential interest in ORBCOMM's solutions and services
  • Qualify & close leads generated by marketing programs
  • Develop detailed knowledge of ORBCOMM solutions and product portfolio and clearly articulate capabilities and advantages to prospective clients
  • Maintain up to date and accurate information for customer accounts in SalesForce.com, such as contact information, opportunities, account information, logged activities, tasks, and events
  • Accomplish sales goals established by the Manager of Inside Sales. Will be accountable for quarterly & annual quotas
  • Monitor, update and complete activity and pipeline reporting
  • Facilitate the new client process by effectively communicating information gathered from new clients before orientation
  • Collaborate with Customer Care Team to resolve client issues
  • Use customer feedback to generate ideas about new features, products, and solutions
  • Proactively research and identify new methods to increase customer engagementMust-have Skills and Qualifications:
    • High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred
    • Persuasive and goal-oriented, possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor, with a tenacity to handle rejection and continue with a positive attitude when reaching out to the next potential client is an absolute must
    • Excellent communication skills with a strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
    • Comfortable partnering with the key stakeholders of small to medium sized businesses
    • Strong collaboration skills and ability to partner with both internal and external clients and stakeholders
    • Strong negotiator and critical thinker with the ability to close a deal
    • Self-directed with the ability to work autonomously, while also being a team player and supporting co-workers to meet corporate objectives
    • Computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and Salesforce.com
    • Strong listening skills to understand and interpret customer requirements
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure
