Summary: The VP, National Sales for Cinch Real Estate is the central management role in the company's real estate vertical, a well-established, multi-decade business unit that continues to be the warranty leader around the residential real estate transaction. The VP, National Sales will be responsible for a collaborative, high-performance sales team that works with top-producing real estate companies to promote Cinch's home warranty products.Reporting directly to the Chief Growth Officer, Douglas Stein, this individual will be responsible for leading their field sales force to advance prospects to new partnerships, included, but not limited to new brokerages, title companies, transaction management platform relationships. Additionally, through their team, this leader will ensure continuity and enable expansion of the thousands of current real estate partnerships across the nation.
Position DescriptionKey Duties & Responsibilities

  • Participate in the development and execution of the company's strategic and real estate specific plans and align go-to-market initiatives to achieve these objectives.
  • Provide central insight into the creation or refinement of products and programs to support market share and profitability increases.
  • Deliver P&L results by utilizing data such as sales performance metrics, market penetration rates, gross margin rates, and expense information to hone the national business strategy and tactics to optimize results.
  • Advance the national sales plan and manage the Regional Vice President / Sales Managers territory plans with clear goals, actions and expectations to ensure high performance.
  • Utilize an effective sales management process including regular communication, one on one coaching, team meetings, performance reviews and developmental action plans with Regional Vice President's and Sales Manager's, and account executives as appropriate.
  • Uses analytic and observational skills to assess sales representative's skills and activities and provides specific performance improvement coaching and development on an ongoing and formalized basis.
  • Ensure recruiting, training, bench strength and performance management supports goal achievement and long-term growth objectives.
  • As the business leader of this national unit, in a relationship industry that also requires deep subject matter expertise, take leadership positions in industry associations such as NAHB, local HBA's, State Associations, RESPRO, NAR, NAHREP, AAREA.
  • Analyze competitors, maintain awareness of their strategy and approach, and manage accordingly.
  • Create persuasive sales presentations using a keen understanding of features, benefits, market trends, case studies and other analytics.
  • Lead a team of consultative sales and account management professionals who are comfortable in a results-driven environment to achieve sales targets on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis and use Salesforce tracking to capture and analyze progress and results.
  • Assist sales team with advancing and closing cornerstone deals and actively participating with top prospects and key accounts.
  • Be the thought leader and visionary on innovating ways to increase sales and account management efficiency including providing field-based subject matter expertise to support departments, including marketing to ensure relevance and effectiveness of campaigns
  • Develop excellent partnerships and grow relations ships from small to large brokerages, residential real estate service providers and professionals
  • Must have a standout executive presence to be the national leader with the organization to the real estate industry at large

    • 40% Sales performance 3 - 5 RVPs / Sales Managers and their 30+ AE's Sales strategy, targeting, process, pipeline management, training, analysis and reporting
    • 25% Account relationships Building and expanding the thousands of current relationships and ensuring client retention
      Minimum Qualifications/ Success Traits-- A Bachelor's Degree with a master's in business or equivalent preferred-- Proven successful executive-- 10 years of sales management experience as a leader who has in-depth experience managing teams of people across multiple cities in the US-- Strongly preferred, 10+ years or proven Residential Real Estate Experience, subject matter expert with strong industry relationships-- Working knowledge of Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA)-- Ability to drive a result driven team of sales professionals to quota attainment-- Proven ability to introduce and sustain consistent accountability practices-- Financial and business acumen required to include overall budget management and reviews-- Strong leadership skills, seen as an inspiring and visionary leader; strong manager with demonstrated experience with transforming a culture and team to drive game changing results-- Excellent communications, interpersonal, time management and organizational skills-- Ability to formulate logical, data-driven business insights and new ideas to drive growth-- Position is a remote/home based role that can be located anywhere in the US-- Minimum of 45% travel is required.
