Job Description:
As a member of Arete's Product & Engineering team, the Data
Quality Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring accuracy,
integrity, and reliability of our organization's data. The primary
responsibility is to implement and maintain data quality processes,
monitor data quality metrics, and collaborate with cross-functional
teams to identify and resolve data quality issues and data-driven
decision making. ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES - -
- Develop and implement data quality standards, policies, and
procedures to ensure consistent and accurate data across the
organization.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of data quality,
identify data discrepancies and anomalies, and initiate corrective
actions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define data quality
requirements and establish data quality metrics and targets.
- Perform data profiling and analysis to identify data quality
issues, patterns, and trends.
- Create and maintain data quality rules and validations to
monitor and improve data integrity.
- Monitor data quality metrics and generate reports to
communicate data quality status, trends, and improvement
initiatives to management.
- Investigate and resolve data quality issues by working closely
with cross-functional teams, including data owners, data stewards,
and IT professionals.
- Provide guidance and support to data owners and data stewards
on data quality best practices, standards, and tools.
- Develop and maintain data quality dashboards and scorecards to
track data quality performance and identify areas for
improvement.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends
in data quality management, and proactively suggest process
improvements and innovative solutions.
- May perform other duties as assigned by management. SKILLS AND
KNOWLEDGE
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex
data sets, identify data quality issues, and propose effective
solutions.
- Familiarity with data quality tools and technologies, such as
data profiling tools, data cleansing software, and data quality
monitoring platforms.
- Solid understanding of data management principles, including
data governance, data integration, and data quality assurance.
- Excellent attention to detail and a meticulous approach to data
analysis and validation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work
independently or collaboratively in a team-oriented
environment.
- Effective communication skills to interact with stakeholders
and explain data quality concepts and findings.
- Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations, such as
GDPR or CCPA, is a plus.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis and data visualization
tools (e.g., R, Python, Tableau) is a plus.
- Knowledge of data integration processes and ETL (Extract,

classified. JOB REQUIRMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems,
Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in data analysis, data quality
management, or a similar role.
- Experience and proficiency with data profiling, cleansing,
manipulation, transformation, and data quality improvement
initiatives.
- Strong understanding of relational databases and data modeling
concepts.
- Familiarity with data quality frameworks, methodologies, and
industry standards.
- Proven ability to work with large datasets and perform complex
data analysis tasks.
- Experience with data visualization tools and techniques to
present data quality insights.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple
priorities and deadlines.WORK ENVIRONMENT -While performing the
