For additional information, visit: JOB DESCRIPTION AW Metering Services is looking for an enthusiastic, well organized, tech savvy motivated team player to join us as in our meter and electronics equipment department. This includes duties around maintaining our inventory, programming of our electronic equipment, shipping to our customers, and receiving equipment from our suppliers. This position is an entry level position and offers the successful candidate the opportunity to grow into other office positions or into our field operations team throughout the US. TECHNICIAN QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS: Clean background check. Record of working safely. Ability to self-organize and function under minimal supervision. Ability to use software and program equipment Display strong attention to details. Ability to prepare equipment for shipment. Ability to unload and organize equipment coming into our warehouse. Display a proven track record in being reliable. Ability to communicate effectively with our customers, suppliers and couriers. Ability to plan your week and coordinate work with our technicians. Consistently display strong communication skills with customers. Technical college or equivalent in a related field would be an asset. Prior experience with plumbing equipment or electronic / cellular communicating equipment would be an asset. Prior experience programming simple electronic equipment would be an asset. Lifting up to 50lbs, working at heights, standing, and driving. 4431 North Dixie Highway Boca Raton, Fl 33431 Toll Free: SHOP TECHNICIAN RESPONSIBILITIES: Program meter reading equipment and pairing it to water meters for outbound shipments (will train on this). Maintain an organized warehouse of parts and equipment. Plan, organize and coordinate your day to ensure the field technicians and customer receive their products timely. Pick, Program, Pack and Ship inventory items according to the sales order. Communicate directly with clients and fulfill their orders. Update them as to the status of their order. Follow OSHA standards in performing work Document work performed in our spreadsheets and through our accounting system. Follow all company policies and directions given by Operations management. Maintain a well-groomed and professional appearance. WAREHOUSE TECHNICIAN PAY & BENEFITS First 90 days is probationary, with pay ranging between $19.00 to $22.50 / hour. Successful probation can result in an hourly rate bump. 8 am to 5pm start time, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week), paid bi weekly. Ability to advance in the company. Training and Tools Provided.
