Summary:The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be a key resource for background check expertise, by providing process and analytical support for the department's daily operations, projects, and special requests. An ideal candidate will be a critical thinker who has solutioning and implementation skills, and the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.Primary Responsibilities:Develop a thorough understanding of the background check packages, components and workflow needed for several business functionsEnsure contractual obligations are met by comparing background check components to documented background check requirements Perform project activities that may include: current and future state processes, gap analysis, project tracking, risk mitigation, solution development, user acceptance testing, and communications within and outside of project teamCreate processes that leverage vendor technologyDevelop process improvements that lead to effective and efficient background check, monitoring, and adjudication operations Collaborate with other departments such as Workforce Relations, legal, HR, security and business teams as needed in response to background check and monitoring resultsPartner with background check vendor to define and monitor key metrics, create reports, and provide data for decision-making Support the background check process for unique population segments, such as unions, post-hire badges, newly acquired companies, and pre-hires as neededUse reports to provide data-driven recommendations regarding people, processes, and technologySkills:Thinks critically, reasons analytically, solutions appropriately, and communicates effectivelyAbility to manage multiple ongoing priorities and deadlines with a sense of urgency and master interdepartmental relationships to meet departmental objectivesAbility to research and work quickly to find data needed to drive towards solutionsAdvanced level skills in Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, WordSelf-starter who is naturally inquisitiveEducation:Bachelor's degree in Business or closely related fieldExperience:3-5 years relevant HR experience, ideally with background checks, adjudication, and/or HR business partner rolePrevious project coordination and administrative experience, preferably in a recruitment, human resource or consulting environmentAdvanced user of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Taleo experience is a plusADT is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Employer.
