Job Description:

Woodfield Boca Raton seeks a Lead Horticulture Gardener to join its award-winning Landscape team. The property consists of 13 acres of highly manicured plant material with an emphasis on tropical and flower features. Turf and ornamental pesticide license preferred, along with experience in insect and plant disease management. Applicant should be able to identify a wide range of plants and have knowledge of plant-specific care. Additional duties may include hand-pruning, planting, and granular fertilization of shrubs and palms as well as pruning, mulching, watering and fertilizing vegetable beds. The position is extremely hands-on and requires supervisory skills. Must have excellent communication skills and be extremely detail oriented. Our selected candidate must be efficient in moving between tasks; must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, including full sun and extreme heat.
