Job Description:

This candidate will have a strong ability to take client ideas and create an attractive product based on their needs. This candidate should feel comfortable creating prototypes and communicating with internal teams in order to deliver wholesome solutions. The candidate should also have an ability to follow budget constraints and demonstrate some pieces of previous works through a portfolio. Specific Requirements of the Position (Knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the functions):

• Exceptional visual, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong working knowledge of finished goods construction, material construction and properties, fabric goods patterning, and manufacturing technologies.
• Technical knowledge of mass production, manufacturing processes, and materials.
• Experience delivering successful designs under tight time constraints.
• Experience designing products made of or with leather and faux leather.
• Familiarity with multiple softgoods materials, such as nylon, polyester, neoprene, cotton, canvas etc.
• Experience using various types of foam and material backings for construction and functionality.
• Comprehensive knowledge of creating products with structural integrity.
• Knowledgeable of terminology used for the development of consumer products.
• Ability to visualize the promising end-result of a product in its early stages of development.
• Ability to prioritize, re-prioritize and switch direction with little notice.
• Organized and possess the ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Ability to collaborate with others.
