We are searching for an Employee Experience Specialist to join our
amazing team. This position is primarily responsible for living the
Boston Proper values, payroll and benefit/HRIS administration, and
human resources generalist support to our leaders and associates.
To ensure success, the ultimate candidate should exhibit
outstanding analytical and communication skills to support our
associates. A specialist is expected to be a conceptual thinker
with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. You will
have excellent administrative and attention-to-detail skills with
the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment. You
will be comfortable managing grey areas being effective and
methodical in the employment life-cycle processes.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in day-to-day employee experience activities:
HRIS/benefit administration, payroll and deployment of human
resources policies, procedures, and programs
- Manage bi-weekly payroll; run payroll reports
- Manage benefits administration and billing
- Manage and be primary contact for the distribution and contact
center leaders and teams; headquarters as needed
- Monitor and maintain accuracy of employee records using the
HRIS system
- Provide human resources policy guidance and
interpretation
- Assist performance management activities and compensation
modifications; maintain and organize digital files/folders
- Assist with new hire onboarding including orientation
- Provide support for major employee experience programs and
projects including performance management cycle, compliance
trainings, benefit (i.e. open enrollment, wellness), audit,
employee recognition, fun committee, etc.
- Review and analyze data to identify trends and recommend
solutions to improve performance, retention, employee experience
and processes
- Other responsibilities as needed
Experience/Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources,
Business, or related field
- 3+ years of Human Resources Generalist experience including
payroll, benefits administration and some associate relations
exposure
- Demonstrated knowledge of HR functional operations and HR
information systems, principles, and practices
- Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
- Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication
skills
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills with a high
attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet
deadlines
- Excellent critical thinking and self-initiative
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and
confidentiality; be sensitive to personal situations
- Intermediate/advanced Microsoft Office product software
including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, Microsoft
PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook.
- High quality document and report preparation
- Intermediate presentation skills able to convey information in
one-on-one and group situations to employees
- Some travel will be required
