Position Summary: This position is responsible for assisting with the Real Estate Transaction team during the programming & design phase. Working with local leaders to develop design concepts for space planning and overall design development, which includes block plans, floor plans, demo plans, and finish plans.
Interviewing and engaging architects and general contractors for overall budgeting purposes. Review of all architectural/engineering construction drawings. Overseeing all construction management for all offices and call centers within the full ADT portfolio.
This position will assist in the development and implementation of brand standards and provide revisions to FF+E (Finishes/Fixtures/Equipment) packages. They will be required to offer support and guidance to all new construction projects as well as conversions and renovations of existing properties.
What You'll Do:

• 
  
• Create and maintain facility standards for the branch offices.
  
• Pre-planning and Programming: Analyzing data from Real Estate Transaction team to determine size of space required for branch locations. This is done by creating Program Summaries which calculates office size based on workstation and common space requirements.
  
• Creation/review of design drawings; applies all preliminary information to develop final design in floor plans, finish plans, equipment plans, elevations, details and review and approve submittals.
  
• Hold calls to review facility standards with Architects and General Contractors to ensure the bidding process results in an accurate quote.
  
• Holds weekly construction calls throughout the project with local ADT leaders, architects, general contractors, and other national vendors through the duration of the project.
  
• Assists with move coordination activities including calls with movers and telco/IT teams as well as visit to the site on move day to ensure a smooth transition for employees to their new location.
  
  What You'll Bring:
  
  • 
    
  • Bachelor's Degree and/or Project Mgmt. Professional (PMP) License required. Degree in Interior Design preferred.
    
  • 5-7 years of experience in commercial design and projects.
    
  • Highly proficient in AutoCad and Bluebeam.
    
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    
  • The ability to complete a project, independently, from Programming to Design Drawings to overall Project/Construction Management.
    
  • The ability to create and balance the budgets of each project and manage project scope and change orders.
    
  • The ability to gather all close out documents from the contractor to collect TIA (Tenant Improvement Allowance).
    
  • The ability to make design changes and find solutions to unexpended conditions or issues during the construction phase.
