Job DescriptionCurrently seeking a Mechanical Designer to join their team. This Designer will support a variety of project types, including residential homes, apartments, condos, industrial, commercial, retail, restaurants, fire stations, religious facilities, and more. This person will work in an office of 10+ engineering professionals, with guidance and leadership from experienced engineers and designers.Responsibilities:

• Assist engineers in the design process by developing plans, developing sections and elevations, redline markups, and evaluating shop drawings
• Perform calculations, size equipment/piping, BIM clash detection and resolution
• Work both independently and with team members on design projects, including inter-discipline coordination
• Provide oversight, training, and mentoring to less experienced designersQualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience designer HVAC systems
  • Must be proficient with AutoCAD
