In addition, this position is responsible for all activities related to the dispensing of raw materials per a formula. Also, responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect assuring the quality and quantity of product produced. Specific responsibilities for the role include:

• Operate encapsulation and blending machinery independently as well as within a team environment
• Enters start-up and in-process information into the batch record
• Match all labels with batch records
• Must be able to document blending/pharmacy process as per SOP
• Must be able to load and unload raw materials
• Disassembles, cleans, and assembles various encapsulation machines
• Maintains the working condition of various blending and encapsulation machines
• Monitor blending and encapsulation operation periodically as well as pharmacy process and report any abnormal conditions to the manager
• Diagnoses issues that arise during a set-up
• Keeps logbooks accurate with current information
• Handles material handling equipment like Palette Jacks and Manual Lifts
• Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of prior mechanical or manufacturing machine operator experience
  • Previous manufacturing or pharmaceutical experience
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
  • Military experience a plus
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Must be able to respond to verbal and written instructions
