Find out why we're all in for helping you be your best.Description:The sonographer thoroughly understands all aspects of cardiac disease and performs different types of echocardiography exams with a high degree of accuracy and analytical skills. Responsible for the independent operation of sonographic equipment, and for performing and communicating findings of diagnostic echocardiography examinations to the physician reader for interpretation. Cardiac Sonographers maintain high standards of medical ethics at all times and is self-motivated to increase level of understanding and knowledge of the field, cardiac pathology, and new procedures as they evolve. Staff under this job code are hired under the condition that they obtain the credential of Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS), by the ARDMS or Registered cardiac Sonographer (RCS) by CCI within one year of employment. Failure to obtain the RDCS or RCS credential within that period of time is considered voluntary resignation. Sonographers' Initials:Estimated pay range for this position is $28.13 - $39.38/ hour depending on experience.Qualifications:Degrees: High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper Licenses & Certifications: ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Basic Life Support CCI Registered Cardiac Sonographer Additional Qualifications: RCS or RDCS. Undergraduate academic degree or certificate with a concentration in cardiac ultrasound.EOE
