Position Summary:

Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Program Assistant / Front Desk Advisor. - Boca Raton, FL.

Summary of Responsibilities include:

+ Provides general support to ISS students throughout the program lifecycle and supports International Students with integrating to the U.S. educational system.

+ Manages the front-end flow and student advising including keeping the area scanning documentation, keep the processing student requests,

+ Serves as a liaison between senior advisors and students appropriately

+ Maintains current knowledge of campus resources and refers students appropriately

+ Responds to inquiries by email, phone, and in-person.

+ Serves as a backup to DSO in basic services such as travel signatures, issuance of letters etc. May serve as a backup in the issuance of I-20s as needed

+ Assists newly admitted students in completing various onboarding tasks such as student account activation, holds, medical insurance enrollment, etc.

+ Assists the with planning and delivering a robust orientation program (per-arrival and post-arrival) and Immigration check in as needed.

+ Maintains front end data and creates reports required to track front end flow

+ Assists with any other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Minimum Qualifications:

A high school diploma and one year of appropriate experience required. Appropriate college coursework may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.

The ability to communicate effectively with a diverse population."

Salary:

$18.00 - $21.00 per hour.
