Guides and directs operating activities of Global CSL Plasma
encompassing ultimate responsibility for all business functions,
products, and personnel toward the accomplishment of company
objectives and long-term strategies.
--- - - - - - - - - Creates the structure and processes necessary
to manage the organization's current activities and its projected
growth and changes. Designs, implements and monitors the
implementation of both short and long-term strategies to
continually improve operational effectiveness of all site
locations, thereby creating a sustainable competitive advantage
--- - - - - - - - - Guides and directs management of the processes
of plasma collection, testing and promotion to plasma donors.
--- - - - - - - - - Oversees and directs the financial performance
of CSL Plasma by guiding financial control and budgeting
--- - - - - - - - - Directs the preparation of short-term and
long-range plans and budgets based on broad corporate goals and
growth objectives. Establishes and monitors Key Performance
Indicators (KPIs). Oversees the implementation of programs to meet
corporate goals and objectives. Evaluates the results of the
business regularly and systematically, reporting these results to
senior CSL management.

business by leading by example, supporting safety initiatives and
encouraging debate regarding safety excellence.
--- - - - - - - - - Directly supervises senior management staff who
directs department activities that implement the company policies,
strategies and goals. Ensures that the responsibilities,
authorities, and accountability of all direct subordinates are
defined and understood. Ensures ongoing development of the talent
to ensure robust succession pipeline for all leadership
--- - - - - - - - - Responsible for the continued development of
employees to ensure managerial and technical competence. Oversees
human resource planning, recruitment, training and development to
ensure all locations are well trained and fully qualified. Active
participant in recruitment, selection, promotion, termination and
performance management of site leadership and critical roles.
--- - - - - - - - - Develops and implements procedures and controls
to promote communication and adequate information flow within the
--- - - - - - - - - Supervises design of systems and processes to
assist in smooth and efficient flow of information between
Corporate and the broader organization.

the company's policies and objectives and ensures their
--- - - - - - - - - Ensures that all business operations are
carried out in compliance with local, state, and federal
regulations and laws governing business operations, such as Food &
Drug Administration (FDA), German Health Authority (GHA), Plasma
Proteins Therapeutic Association (PPTA) and current Good
Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
--- - - - - - - - - Acts as principal spokesperson and represents
CSL Plasma externally, in line with corporate direction.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the
performance of CSL Plasma and will have at least 10 years of
experience working for Life Science companies with prior P&L
responsibility. - The ideal candidate will have senior level
experience in pharmaceutical or another highly regulated industry
and have experience with business operating models in the retail
environment, especially in high growth and matrix industries. -
General management and plasma collection industry experience will
be preferred. - We will seek candidates who have demonstrated
ability to develop strategy and vision for life sciences
businesses, drive innovation and growth initiatives, and create a
results-oriented culture. - International business experience and
experience working and/or living outside the US is preferred.
Possesses an outstanding record of accomplishment including leading
and growing significant bio science and/or retail operations and
building productive partnerships.
Sophisticated management skills and business judgment with an
ability to evaluate alternatives, establish priorities and apply
Demonstrated ability to lead in a complex matrix operating model,
engaging key stakeholders for alignment of resources, commitments,
and successful business outcomes.
Strong judgement and decision-making skills in critical go/no-go
Experience managing all financial aspects of the business including
budgeting, forecasting, long range planning and overall management
of the P&L.
Strong problem identification and resolution mindset with a
relentless drive to accomplish company goals and objectives.
Possess strong credibility with key internal and external
Understanding of global Medical, Regulatory and Commercial
Proven ability and aptitude to rapidly become conversant with
Company's scientific platform and assets.
Energetic self-starter with strong executive presence and the
ability to work effectively in a high growth company
