Digital Experiences play a key role in the successful Digital Transformation of CSL by supporting the definition of a companywide digital experience strategy and ensuring its successful execution. Leveraging existing and new technology, the team focuses on the development of engaging experiences for customers, patients, donors and employees. It is a Centre of Excellence with deep expertise in Digital Experience and Engagement Design that enables CSL to apply human-centered approaches to define and solve problems and drive cultural transformation.

The Agile coach is tasked with the development of an Agile mindset and skillset across the I&T teams and broader business to inject capabilities that enable agile working where beneficial. They assess, coach, train and mentor teams on implementing Agile principles to incrementally develop and deliver solutions that meet business needs. They are responsible for guiding teams through the implementation process and are tasked with encouraging workers and leadership to embrace and adopt Agile methods

They act as a servant leader to support the team and Digital Product Owners, embracing and modeling a culture that promotes an empowered team environment.

Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Educate Experience Product teams and conduct training sessions on Agile methodology championing continuous improvement to evolve the agile maturity
  • Provide hands-on coaching and mentoring to Experience Product teams.
  • Support the development of experiences as a Product team member to ensure agile working principles are applied and related capabilities are built by participating in activities such as:
    • Sprint planning and sprint demos
    • Daily stand-ups
    • Grooming the backlog
    • Planning releases
  • Lead retrospective workshops for team members to foster continuous improvement and identify and analyze impediments to performance including outside interference and guide teams towards solutions
  • Create and monitor metrics to assess team performance, report and monitor scope and velocity / performance of team
  • Guide I&T and CSL in their adoption of Agile values, principles, and techniques by supporting the development of Agile frameworks and standards to scale the development of groups into high-performing teams
  • Champions the use of Agile across I&T and CSL to establish an agile mindset to support cultural transformation and help scale self-organization by closely working with the "Dx Academy" and "Community of Practice"
  • Keep abreast of latest developments in Agile working and utilize the derived insights to continuously improve the methodology and identify tools useful for Agile delivery.
  • Foster communication and collaboration with other functions that apply agile methodologies.


University Degree in natural science or Computer Science, Digital Product Design, Development & implementation, or other related discipline.

  • 8+ years IT experience at senior levels, including specific experience in Human Factor Design, User Experience Design and Usability across more than one customer interaction channel
  • Ideally, experience in supporting at least one Agile transformation
  • Certified in at least one Agile or related framework (e.g., Scrum, SAFe, LeSS, Kanban, Design Thinking)
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, coaching and servant leadership skills
  • Experience working with and mentoring teams in the use of Agile practices
  • Experience in multiple roles as part of an Agile team
  • Interpersonal savvy and ability to energize others
  • High competency in problem-solving and leading teams towards solutions
  • Strong conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new situations and learn on the fly
  • Proven ability to build, mentor and grow a high performing and cohesive cross-functional teams
  • Global managerial experience and demonstrated leadership experience
  • Practical experience in the delivery of large digital transformation programs
  • Marketing in digital world an advantage
  • Pharma/Biotech or similarly regulated environment experience desirable
