Under the direction of the Sr. Manager Structural Engineering, the Structural Engineering (SE) Administrator II has the responsibility of assisting projects by working with various departments to ensure project timelines are met and documentation needed is secured, and follow up communication is executed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Setting up the Engineering SA folders on domestic and International Projects

  • Assigning the jobs to internal structural engineering Team.

  • Securing the Engineering documents from outside firms and International teams.

  • Maintain an up-to-date inventory of the department's files and documents.

  • Assist in updating the TIA code change map on a regular basis.

  • Navigate both internal and external databases to collect documentation requested by the Structural Engineering team.

  • Maintain accurate and up to date information collected within internal database for corrosion projects and anchor upgrades. Input data as it is received and communicate details, timelines and pending action items upon request and as needed with appropriate internal team(s) via email and/or team meetings.

  • Attend and participate in internal team meetings. Assist the Team Lead in preparing PowerPoint presentations and Excel spreadsheets on meeting topics. Facilitate technical presentations on topics such as new tower code related changes to internal audiences as needed.

  • Updating the OneVizion tracker with job status change and creating weekly reports on team's performance on International and domestic projects

  • Other projects and duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; AA strongly preferred, BA/BS preferred.

  • 3+ years experience supporting a senior level manager or executive or relevant experience required.

  • Must demonstrate advanced knowledge and ability to work with MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet and e-mail programs.

  • Ability to interact professionally with all levels of personnel via phone, in person, E-mail and written correspondence.

  • Above average written and verbal communication skills.

Language Skills:

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

  • Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos in English and Spanish is required. Portuguese is a plus.

Mathematical Skills:

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area and volume.

Reasoning Ability:

  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
