Job Description Job Description Job Title: Cargo Receiver Job Description We are seeking a skilled Cargo Receiver to manage the receipt of incoming freight in a dynamic warehouse environment. This role requires proficiency in operating a sit-down forklift and the ability to perform basic computer tasks. Experience with Magaya or Logisuite is preferred, though not required. The position operates from 8 AM to 4 PM with the possibility of overtime. Responsibilities Receive and unload incoming freight using a sit-down forklift. Verify shipments at the time of delivery to ensure they match inland freight bills. Weigh, measure, and enter shipments into the warehouse management system. Create warehouse receipts and prepare shipments for export. Organize shipments to ensure FIFO processing and same-day handling. Engage in general warehouse tasks such as unloading trucks and basic inventory control. Essential Skills Licensed and trained sit-down forklift operator. Experience in receiving and unloading cargo. Basic computer skills with desktop and tablet usage. Familiarity with warehouse management systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in a Freight Forwarding or Ocean Carrier company is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Spanish language skills are a plus but not required. Flexibility to assist in various warehouse roles as needed. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of MEDLEY, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
