Location: Remote Position, On Shore candidates Required PeakActivity's client is looking to hire a Software QA Engineer mid to senior level for web applications who will be assessing software quality by designing and implementing testing processes, taking ownership of code quality through exploratory and automated tests.What makes a good QA Engineer? Ability to think like a developer, fully understand what project managers and product owners expect, and to imagine what end users need and how they will interact with the product. Ability to bring together strategy, technology, and expertise to optimize the testing process. We expect a candidate to be proactive, self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision, have wide industry knowledge and bring initiatives to the team's table.The main focus of the role will be on writing automated functional tests for web applications. The candidate should be able to: ● Analyze and prioritize scope for test automation considering business needs, customer risks and efficiency improvement.● Write clean code according to best industry practices.● Integrate automated test suite into CI/CD pipeline. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: ● Strong experience in automating tests for web applications with Selenium Webdriver● Solid knowledge of JavaScript programming language● Experience working in a DevOps environment for continuous testing● Hands-on experience in API testing and API test automation with Postman● Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes● Understanding of Agile methodology, roles, and responsibilities● Ability to provide efficient test coverage for a web application● Perform requirements analysis● Strong analytical & debugging skills● Experience working with eCommerce platforms - preferred, but not required TOOLBOX: Web Testing Tools and Framework: WebDriverIO, Cucumber, Selenium WebDriver, Selenium Grid.Reporting tools: Allure, Extent ReportLanguage: JavaScript, JavaAPI testing tools: Postman/Swagger, JMeter, REST API.CI tool: Jenkins, CircleCIVersion control: Git, GitHub, Sourcetree PeakActivity is a Florida based technology and marketing consultancy that helps enterprises achieve long-term, scalable growth through better insights, superior talent, and game-changing technology.The company is proud of providing employees with a positive, encouraging, and supportive working environment, giving an opportunity to dream, deliver and elevate great products and services.
