Your Role

imimobile North America is looking for a uniquely qualified, Technical Consulting Engineer who is passionate about designing solutions for clients based on the requirements they have gathered. We seek a proven team player who not only shares our passion for successfully solving our clients' most demanding problems, but also has the skill set to be able to foster and support the cross-functional cooperation and coordination necessary to create sophisticated flows and integrations that allow clients to communicate with their customers through a variety of mobile channels such as SMS, Email, Voice/IVR, Facebook Messenger, etc. The Technical Consulting reports directly to the Manger of Solution Consulting and is responsible for assisting with the Solution Consulting Process and knowledge management. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and development of client solutions and strategies that keeps IMI on-pace with market trends and demands, while delivering client solutions in such a way as to meet, or exceed, the needs of IMI's entire portfolio of existing clients.

What You'll Do

  • You will participate in client meetings and sales calls with Client Directors and Client Service Managers
  • You will be a technology expert on all IMImobile solutions and technology portfolio as well as mobile technologies in general
  • You will articulate value proposition and solutions to multiple levels within the customer organizations, including executive level
  • You will identify solutions to complement the IMI product set; new products, services, packaging of multiple products to differentiate in market offerings, etc.
  • You will provide feedback to product development on product enhancements to support client needs
  • You will participate in industry specific organizations / associations
  • You will develop and maintain solution design documentation including level of effort assessments
  • You will work with IMI solution delivery team to ensure solutions are implemented in accordance with design
  • You will lead product demonstrations and presentations
  • You will present IMI solutions and capabilities (service offerings) for IMImobile clients
  • You will demonstrate the ability to successfully manage multiple projects concurrently
  • You will support collaboration across Go to Market and other internal IMImobile teams
  • You will support RFP / RFI process for prospects and clients
  • You will review, understand and validate scheduled releases to production
  • You will provide insights in the day-to-day operations and continuous improvement of all the Solution Consulting functions
    Who You Are
    • You have proven ability to author software design documentation including architecture diagrams, flow charts, and sequence diagrams
    • You have experience designing CPaaS (Communications Platform as a Service) solutions
    • You possess a solid understanding of IT Infrastructure, communication protocols, and APIs - specifically mobile technologies such as SMS, MMS, Push, Mobile Web, RCS, Apple Business Chat, Voice, Email and other mobile channels
    • You have a proven ability to facilitate the team's efforts to turn high level product concepts and business requirements into software product requirements and design specifications
    • Our ideal candidate will have SIP and Voice infrastructure knowledge.
    • You have a strong customer presence coupled with the ability to communicate technology concepts at the executive & engineering level
    • You are comfortable leading technical whiteboard sessions
    • You possess strong analytical skills and ability to build consensus
    • You have the ability to quickly establish credibility and rapport with a broad set of constituencies
    • You possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with appropriate levels of management
    • You possess strong results orientation with demonstrated track record of success
    • You possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
    • You have at least 3-7 years' experience in technology engineering pre-sales or equivalent experience including consulting or professional services
    • You have a proven ability to facilitate the team's efforts to turn high level product concepts and business requirements into software product requirements and design specifications
    • You have a proven ability to work with members of the team to build a process necessary to take IMImobile to higher levels of performance
    • You have excellent communication and presentation skills are required
    • You possess the ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-deliverable, time-sensitive environment with demonstrated ability to complete projects on time
    • You have superior attention to detail and customer service orientation
