Job Description
The HR Operations Intern will work strategically within our Operational Excellence group to help provide operational support to the HR Function. The opportunity will provide the ability to review existing insights and make recommendations for improving our overall employee experience through partnerships with our HRBPs & HR Centers of Expertise such as Talent Management, Payroll, Benefits and Time Away.
Responsibilities
Provide high quality, comprehensive support on key HR processes and HR transactions that involve supporting applicants at Vail Resorts from their initial application through their transition to an active employee
This role will help execute on efficient processes resulting in more consistent data and insights
Engage to determine scope of need, work to resolve issue, and direct to resources; escalate issues when necessary
Find opportunities for continuous improvement initiatives within assigned scope of work
Propose solutions and ideas to find more efficient ways to deliver HR support to applicants, employees, and people leaders
Support HR transactional work related to the efficient onboarding of new and seasonal hires
Work to improve and standardize work to support automation where feasible
Liaise with Centers of Expertise to deliver employee and manager-facing content and to support questions
