Job Description:

The Junior HR Generalist will play a critical role assisting the team with all aspects of HR administration with a focus on recruiting and onboarding, benefits, reporting, ad hoc employee inquiries, and systems administration. This is an ideal position for an early-career candidate eager to make an impact in support of the broader HR team, and to build upon the fundamentals of human resources in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This role will report directly to the Corporate HR Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: --- Assist with routine and ad hoc reporting by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends --- Assist with creating and updating job descriptions --- Assist in recruiting activities which includes, posting jobs, sourcing and candidate searches, pre-screening activities, scheduling and participating in interviews --- Assist with new hire onboarding and orientation --- Assist with new hire processing including hiring in the HRIS system, new hire file creation, eVerify, and new hire paperwork collection. --- Assist with employee offboarding --- Assist with COVID-19 contact exposure and tracking --- Assist with benefits/401(k) administration including new hire enrollment, dependent verification, status change processing, and open enrollment. --- Assist with benefits billing reconciliation. --- Assist with policy creation. --- Assist with Associate Appreciation Committee events. --- Employee & benefits file maintenance. --- Process HR-related invoices and coordinate payment with relevant accounting teams --- HR Special projects/responsibilities as defined by supervisor
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. --- Bachelor's Degree required --- 1-2 years of relevant experience, with some prior exposure to/within HR --- Organized and motivated, with a strong analytical mindset --- Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite of products including Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook for email, calendar, contacts, scheduling and task management. --- Experience with ADP or other HRIS is a plus --- Demonstrated problem-solving skills --- Effectively balances timely and competing priorities with tact, responsiveness, and enthusiasm --- Possesses strong interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), presentation and networking skills. --- Maintain a "customer service" orientation with ability to escalate issues when appropriate --- Exercises good judgment while working with highly sensitive, confidential material and information --- Excellent attention to detail --- Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
