Facility:-- -HUMAN RESOURCESCompensation Base:-- -$125,000 + Bonus Compensation Bonus (if applicable):-- -Equal Opportunity Employer.SummaryThis position will oversee the management of the company's compensation and benefits programs. It manages the implementation and administration of a comprehensive benefits plan.-- - Oversees common compensation functions, including job evaluation, salary structure and incentive compensation plans. -- -Position responsible for compliance of all programs with various local, state, federal and governmental regulations.Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesManages compensation projects to ensure that job descriptions and prepared market evaluations are conducted, and positions are in compliance with FLSA and SCA.Responsible for the administration of 401(k), deferred Compensation and employee stock purchase plan.Responsible for the effective administration of benefits plans and programs for employees, including medical, dental, vision and disability plans, life insurance, wellness programs, COBRA, EAP and others.Monitors and analyzes financial impact of self-insured claims against employer and employee contributions. Researches and reviews competitive benefit offerings data and presents management with recommendations to increase opportunities for competitive positioning in the marketplace.Creates and monitors reports and dashboards to analyze benefit claim activities for financial impact, cost optimization and claim irregularities.Maintains ongoing relationship with vendors, auditors and consultants to be apprised of any coverage or plan design changes or disclosure requirements"-- - -either mandated or suggested.Manages the benefits open enrollments process, including communications, audits, reporting, disclosures, and distribution of required ERISA documents.Manages the employee wellness program and creates communications of best practices to share with employees and their dependents for better lifestyle choices.Ensures compliance with various local, state, federal and governmental regulations including Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) reporting and disclosure requirements, and annual filings for all benefits offerings.Actively participates in weekly cross departmental meetings of IT/HR/Payroll/HRIS for the on-going development of IT and payroll systems in support of benefits projects and daily processes.Creates engaging and effective benefits communications to be distributed to employees and applicable dependents.Reviews policies and procedures and makes revision recommendations where appropriate.Monitors and maintains Sarbanes-Oxley controls for the benefit programs.Coordinates with HRIS on 1095C data collection and reporting.Monitors and ensures compliance with the Affordable Care Act, including Reinsurance Fee payments and PCOR fees.Performs other duties as assigned.-- -Job Requirements:Minimum RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field required.Eight (8) years of comprehensive and progressive benefit administration experience.Advanced knowledge of benefits programs/practices and the ability to evaluate the appropriate benefits strategy to meet organizational guidelines and employee needs.Advanced knowledge of HR laws and regulations and progressive experience administering HR policies and processes.Certification by a benefits association preferred (HRCI-SPHR/PHR, SHRM-SCP/CP,CEBS, CBP, etc).Ability to use quantitative metrics to measure program effectiveness and efficiency.Strong computer skills, including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Must have the ability to communicate and work with all levels in the organization, both verbally and in writing.Must have excellent organization and time management skills and demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and people.Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.
