Job Description:
The Lakeside Terrace (inside the Hilton Boca Raton) is looking
for a Lead Banquet Server/Set-up Houseperson to join their Banquet
team! The ideal candidate will have prior Banquet experience as
well as supervisory experience.
This position will be responsible for overseeing the banquet
functions and ensuring nightly breakdown and closure after the
functions along with setting up Lakeside Terrace and function rooms
at the hotel for various functions.
We are looking for someone who is naturally friendly and outgoing,
has an upbeat personality, and a passion for food & beverage as
well as customer service. This is a full-time position.
Pay Rate: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour plus banquet gratuity
Job Duties:
-Oversee the banquet functions and ensure nightly breakdown and
closure after the functions
-Set up Lakeside Terrace and function rooms at the hotel for
various functions
-Responsible for moving tables, chairs, staging and any other
banquet equipment with proper use of hand trucks, carts and dollies
in a safe manner
-Responsible for the breakdown and storage of furniture and
equipment upon completion of banquet catering functions; to include
cleaning and vacuuming meeting rooms
-Treat guests with courtesy, friendliness and respect and provide
responsive service
-Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of
assigned station and service areas
-Assists fellow servers and management in their duties as
required
-Maintains care and cleanliness of all banquet equipment
