Job Description Job Description Sterile Processing Manager Location: Tamarac, FL Shift: Full-Time | Days (No Weekends) Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sterile Processing Manager to provide leadership and oversight for the Central Sterile Processing (CSP) department. This role assists the Director of Surgical Services in the orientation, development, and management of CSP personnel while ensuring compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership experience in an acute care setting and a thorough understanding of sterile processing operations, instrumentation, and sterilization standards. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership and daily operational oversight of the Central Sterile Processing (CSP) department. Assist in the orientation, training, development, and performance management of sterile processing staff. Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and infection control standards (Joint Commission, AAMI, AORN, etc.). Oversee decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments and supplies. Support the development, review, and revision of departmental policies and procedures. Monitor quality assurance processes to maintain patient safety and operational efficiency. Collaborate with Surgical Services leadership to ensure timely case readiness and smooth workflow. Maintain equipment, inventory control, and sterile processing documentation standards. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required Certification from an approved Central Sterile Processing (CSP) technical program required Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) – must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date 3–5 years of sterile processing experience REQUIRED Lead or supervisory experience in an acute care hospital setting REQUIRED Company Description At Netpace Healthcare Staffing, we believe that when clinicians are truly supported, patient care reaches its highest standard.
