Job Description:
Position Summary: A professional Registered Nurse who functions
as a direct liaison between the physician, patient, community and
all hospital departments to coordinate patient flow in the
hospital. Assists in managing the delivery of patient care for
administrative and clinical aspects to include organizing,
developing, directing and assuring the delivery of cost-effective,
quality patient care. Assists in the process which ensures that
patient care is delivered in accordance with established hospital,
State, Federal, Joint Commission (TJC), and ANA policies,
procedures, regulations, ethics, and standards. Provides education
to staff based on theoretical and clinical expertise. This position
will have accountability during duty hours to ensure clinical
resource and continuity of patient care. Who We Are We are a

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: Minimum: Bachelors Degree in
Nursing or related field or other qualification recognized by the
State of Florida for Registered Nurse licensure plus15 years of
leadership and/or ICU experience. Preferred: Masters Degree in
Nursing, Education, Management or related field, or demonstrated
equivalent competencies. EXPERIENCE: Clinical and administrative
practice. Two years experience in clinical related specialty; one
year supervisory or management experience, working knowledge of
Quality Improvement process and TJC standards.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION: REQUIRED: Registered Nurse -
licensed in the State of Florida. AHA BLS and AHA ACLS
Certification CPI within 90 days of hire PREFERRED: National
certification in a program that includes management concepts. OTHER
QUALIFICATIONS: Managerial experience - able to relate to a large
variety of individuals. LI-MQ1 Tenet complies with federal, state,
and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce.
