Up to $15,000 SOB for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months Full Time, Evenings Position Summary To provide safe and effective nursing care to all patients (Adult and Pediatric) utilizing the nursing process at West Boca Medical Center and off site at West Boca Emergency Center. The Registered Nurse also is responsible for the direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care. Administers and performs specialized nursing care according to assigned unit and treatment for patient. WBMC offers general medical and surgical care, orthopedics, a robotic surgery program, a state-of-the art breast imaging center, womens and childrens services and the only level III NICU in southern Palm Beach County. Its two emergency centers, one at the main hospital and the other in Coconut Creek, are open 24-hours a day. Join our team! EDUCATION: Minimum: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Preferred BSN. EXPERIENCE: Minimum: 24 month Med/Surg experience and successful and/or critical care experience and completion of a critical care training program preferred. Adult and Pediatric Emergency experience preferred. OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: Successful completion of WBMC Medication test. Successful completion of unit specific test. Demonstrates yearly competencies specific to unit. REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/ LICENSURE/ REGISTRATION: Current Florida RN License Minimum 2 year licensed nursing practice in an Emergency Dept preferred. BLS, ACLS, PALS certification (American Heart Association) TNCC, CEN, ENPC - preferred LI-JP1
