Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to join our residential Team! Wellness Resource Center is a 54+ behavioral health treatment facility providing services to adults in an inpatient and outpatient basis. Wellness Resource Center is located on the south east border of Boca Raton. Come, join a Team, and support a facility dedicated to changing lives!

All shifts and and days are available for a PRN or seasonal BHT looking for additional hours and shifts.


Here are some of the ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS of the Behavioral Health Technician (BHT):


Behavioral Health Technician (BHT)'s provide care and close supervision of facility patients and documenting behavior

Behavioral Health Technician (BHT)'s develop positive relationships with patients and co-workers

Behavioral Health Technician (BHT)'s follow facility policies and procedures implementing treatment plans and providing crisis intervention as necessary.

Behavioral Health Technician (BHT)'s actively participant as part of the treatment team, providing continuous patient care, supervision, interaction

Behavioral Health Technician (BHT)'s act as a role model in using appropriate counseling skills by de-escalating aggression, using active listening skills, using appropriate tone and volume of voice, providing a high frequency and variety of positive reinforcements, maintaining appropriate boundaries, and promoting a positive peer culture.


Experience

1 year(s): Knowledge of 12 Step Recovery
