Find out why we're all in for helping you be your best.Description Generalists on the second shift in Boca Raton Regional Hospital Lab, rotate in Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation and Urinalysis. Hematology has the most advanced interfaced analyzers and automation including Sysmex XN-3100, Cellavision, and WAM; Stago Sta R Max (2) and Iris iQ200 and Velocity (2). Chemistry has Siemens' Centaurs (2) and automated line with Vistas (2).Position Expectations and Responsibilities: Analyzes and reports test data accurately.Expected to have the ability to read, analyze and interpret general professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Expected to have high mathematical skills. Expected to have advanced computer skills including Windows. Expected to perform routine and corrective maintenance on equipment. Expected to document and report test data accurately and cognitively. Expected to complete Quality Control requirements of the section. Expected to exhibit adaptability, flexibility, self control and maturity in work and behavior. Expected to exhibit calm responsiveness to emergency or stressful situations. Expected to recognize situations which require notification of a supervisor. Expected to communicate with all levels of management and patients in a respectful manner. Expected to assist in the departmental orientation of new employees. Expected to assume responsibility for the department/section/shift in the absence of the supervisor. Expected to accommodate scheduling requirements.Estimated pay range for this position is %2435.70 / hour depending on experience.Qualifications Degrees: Associates Licenses Certifications: Clinical Laboratory Technologist Additional Qualifications: Associate Degree in Medical Technology or related science or equivalent education as required by the State of Florida. Bachelor's degree preferred. State of Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist License or Temporary Clinical Laboratory License in appropriate discipline(s). Complete knowledge of laboratory medical technology theory and practice. Certain entities (BOS) will require BLS certification.
