The Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit has a total of eight beds with an average RN patient ratio of 2:1. This unit primarily cares for immediate post-operative open heart surgical patients as well as post-operative vascular patients. The ideal Registered Nurse candidate for this department will have a minimum one year hospital CVICU experience and should be familiar with vasoactive drugs, Swan-ganz catheters, post-operative hemorrhages, and ventilator care. He/she must be positive, passionate, professional and will be an effective team player who is committed to delivering the highest quality of patient care.Estimated pay range for this position is %2433.80 - %2444.92 / hour depending on experience.Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing school. (AD in Nursing, RN Diploma, or BSN) Current Florida Registered Nurse Licensure. Current BLS and ACLS issued by the American Heart Association. Minimum of 1 year of Hospital CVICU experience required. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
