and service.The Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center has an
exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Clinical Research Coordinator
1 to work on the UHealth Campus. The Clinical Research Coordinator
will manage a National Cancer Institute funded feasibility and
randomized control trial to establish and test a Mindfulness-based
music therapy intervention in cancer patients. The CRC will possess
experience in recruitment and assessment of cancer patients in
biobehavioral intervention or population health studies. The CRC
will perform study related tasks including participant recruitment
and scheduling, administration of all measures and screening tools.
The CRC will also maintain and expand collaborative relationships
with the stem cell clinics, physicians, and nurses. The CRC will
also be responsible for providing research support to MPIs
assisting with maintenance of databases, scheduling assessment
visits, conducting assessments, tracking participants, coordinating
biweekly research meetings, assisting with literature
reviews/searches and manuscript preparation. The CRC will also
assist the PI in the preparation of IRB, NIH and regulatory
compliance reports and will operate as liaison for the study
personnel and the various transdisciplinary teams at our
performance sites. The CRC will also work closely with laboratories
to facilitate sample processing and storage.Assist the
investigators and work collaboratively in the preparation of IRB,
NIH and regulatory compliance reports. Perform study related tasks
including participant recruitment and scheduling, administration of
all measures and screening tools and retention efforts.Maintain and
expand collaborative relationships with the stem cell clinics,
physicians, and nurses. Providing research support to MPIs
assisting with maintenance of databases, coordinating biweekly
research meetings, assisting with literature reviews/searches and
manuscript preparation.Facilitate sample processing and storage.
Oversee CITI-training in the Protection of Human Participants and
OSHA-mandated training related to the handling of physiological

responsibilities as necessary.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's
degree in relevant field requiredMinimum 1 year of relevant
experienceSkill in completing assignments accurately and with
attention to detail.Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize
work under pressure while meeting deadlines.Ability to process and
handle confidential information with discretion.Ability to work
evenings, nights, and weekends as necessary.Commitment to the
