My Direct client is looking for a Full time Clinical Project
Manager. The Clinical Project Manager (CPM) is responsible for
managing clinical aspects of the day-to-day activities that
encompass laboratory account management, staffing and product
delivery. The CPM, in concert with the VP of Technical Operations
and VP of Operations, is accountable for achieving successful
delivery of laboratory services at the project level by meeting
company and regulatory requirements according to time,
quality/scope and budget constraints.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Proactively manage project level operational aspects including
management of staffing requirements, procedures, training and
Provide efficient updates on progress to the leadership team with
respect to staffing issues, project plans, laboratory needs,
timeline management, quality standards and risk mitigation.
Engage in the initial startup process, including but not limited to
conduct of the implementation meetings, site-surveys, site setup
Ensure effective project plans are in place and operational for
each laboratory and work proactively with the team to set
priorities in accordance with applicable project plans, company
standard operational procedures (SOPs) and regulatory
Ensure potential risks are escalated to the attention of the
leadership team when appropriate.
Review and approve site visit reports; ensure tracking, follow up
and resolution of site issues have been completed in a timely
Monitor the quality of vendor deliverables, address quality issues
with the appropriate team members and identify opportunities to
improve training, execution and quality control across the clinical
Effectively provide support to the on-site clinical managers and
staff when needed.
Ensure the quality of laboratory operations in respect to COLA
guidelines, including auditing laboratory function at random times.
Assisting with inspections when necessary.
Assist the VP of Technical Operations and VP of Operations with
various technical tasks when needed.
Other duties as assigned
A graduate or undergraduate degree, Healthcare background
Solid communication skills, including the ability to read, write,
and speak fluent English
5+ years of relevant experience within clinical laboratory and/or
Previous experience in Biotech, Clinical operations, Molecular
Biology, Clinical Focused or Clinical Field Specialist.
2+ years of managerial experience, including having served as a
manager, team lead, or project manager
