Job Summary:
This position is responsible for carrying out all aspects of patient treatment, including consultation, procedure assistance (including pre and post-op patient direction), ensuring successful treatment, follow up, recovery and discharge with any orders of the CMO. The Orthopedic Practitioner will apply medical techniques and principles under the direction of the physician. The Orthopedic Practitioner will be responsible for performing all musculoskeletal, anti-aging, and intravenous treatments while adhering to protocols within his/her scope of practice. The Orthopedic Practitioner will, from time to time, be challenged with learning and implementing new protocols, treatments, and training the medical staff in their respective roles in these treatments.

Job Responsibility:

• Assess patients' health, their concerns, and aim to fulfill them as well as possible.
• Issue appropriate prescriptions and administer appropriate medications.
• Communicate with physicians about any issues or discrepancies that arise.
• Assess and review patient histories, while identifying abnormalities.
• Monitor patients' progress, while keeping records of treatments, procedures, and other medical events.
• Attend to any medical emergencies.
• Provide assistance during treatments and procedures.
• Conduct consultations in conjunction with and. as directed by the CMO.
• Provide treatments within the scope of practice.
• Cultivate a climate of trust and compassion for our patients.
• Comply strictly with medical care regulations and safety standards.
• Collaborate effectively with the CMO and medical staff.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
  
  Qualifications:
  • BSc/MA in Physician Assistant Studies, Health Science or Medical
  • 2+ years of direct, hands on experience as a ARNP or PA
  • Experience in orthopedic care
  • Experience in or a desire to learn aesthetic procedures and treatments
  • Experience with injections
  • Experience with hormone replacement therapy and peptides is a plus
