    Position Summary:

    The Associate Director, CRM & Retention Marketing candidate is an exceptional marketing leader in strategic thinking, planning, digital marketing, customer engagement, expansion, retention, and cross-functional collaboration. The Associate Director will set a long-term vision and strategy for B2B customer lifecycle marketing, including customer onboarding, expansion, and retention. This position will partner with the sales, customer success, technology, ecommerce, and product management teams to develop a coordinated, omni-channel experience for customers. This leader will set a multi-quarter roadmap, prioritizing multiple initiatives.

    The Associate Director, CRM & Retention Marketing will drive execution, measure KPIs, and deliver results. They will build the infrastructure needed to customize, automate and scale campaigns. The ideal candidate is a strong cross-functional leader, able to communicate effectively to executives, colleagues, customers, and agency partners. Additionally, the right person for this role has a drive for understanding the B2B customer and end user, testing, making data-driven decisions, and delivering results.

    Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:


    • Drive B2B customer growth and retention marketing initiatives from concept to execution in diverse marketing channels
    • Build the B2B customer strategic plan, execute, track, and monitor results
    • Develop and oversee integrated multichannel campaigns, including digital (e.g., email, website), offline (e.g., direct mail, print collateral), and customer events
    • Build the contact strategies and content for customer cohorts and various programs
    • Develop and oversee the B2B customer content and promotional calendars
    • Track, analyze, and synthesize various program and campaign effectiveness data in order to guide future strategy
    • Improve customer lifetime value through data, insights, and test-and-learn methodology
    • Work with IT and Business Intelligence Team to ensure proper tracking and data
    • Develop digital solutions when applicable, such as drip or triggered email campaigns
    • Leverage analytics from Salesforce, Google Analytics, and Email Service Provider to adapt strategies based on previous campaign performance, customer insights, and market needs
    • Drive regular quarterly business review cadence with the internal team to stay abreast of overall strategy and objectives, and adapt programs based on performance and industry trends
    • Train, coach, and develop the B2B customer marketing team
    • Be a customer and end user advocate
    • Stay current with industry trends, best practices and advise team on new strategies and technologies; document learnings
    • All other duties as assigned




      Qualifications and Skills Required:


      • 5-8+ years experience in marketing, lifecycle marketing, CRM, retention or growth marketing role required; agency experience a plus
      • Business-to-Business (B2B) experience required; Business-to-Consumer (B2C) experience a plus
      • Strong content and promotional marketing background to drive customer growth and share of wallet
      • Experience with segmentation and B2B account based marketing (ABM), and developing strategic marketing plans for key customer segments
      • Experience developing and executing scheduled and triggered email campaigns
      • Analytical and KPIs-driven
      • Digitally savvy; experience with Salesforce, email service providers, Google Analytics, as well as MS Office; SMS and Pardot experience a plus
      • Marketing leader with experience managing and mentoring marketing teams
      • Budget management experience
      • Strong project management experience; have solid organization and prioritization skills
      • Comfortable working cross-functionally, particularly with Sales Teams
      • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and successfully meet deadlines
      • Team-oriented with the ability to adapt quickly in a growing, dynamic company


        Education Required:


        • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Management, or Business; MBA a plus
        • 5-8+ Years of experience in a related field and/or position
