*Background*Child Rescue Coalition (CRC) is a nonprofit organization that rescues children from sexual abuse by building technology for law enforcement, free of charge, to track, arrest and prosecute child predators. Headquartered in Boca Raton, Florida, we developed powerful technology which has been a significant tool for law enforcement agencies around the globe. Our technology has improved the success rates of investigators and policing operations in the ongoing pursuit to identify, apprehend and convict individuals and networks associated with child sexual exploitation.As a nonprofit, our mission is made possible through the generous support of individuals and partnerships with private corporations. This allows us to integrate our CRC Technology into law enforcement agencies in all 50 U.S. States and 97 countries for free. Our technology has been pivotal in identifying and indexing millions of IP addresses linked to sharing child sexual abuse material.CRCs offices are in the Boca Raton Innovation Campus (BRiC), which provides lots of amenities. We are seeking a Special Events Manager to join our team. The position is full-time, classified as exempt and a hybrid role (Mondays and Fridays remote).*Primary Role: *The Special Events Manager is part of the CRC Development Team. The Special Events Manager is responsible for theorganizations events strategy, planning, and delivery. This role reports to the CEO.*Events** Execute the organizations signature events: Annual Tech with Heart Gala, Coalition Cup Golf Tournament, Town Hall: Lunch & Learn series, and Blankets & Bear Hug Community Days.* Ideate new event concepts to create additional yearly programming that assists in spreading mission awareness, cultivating new donors and meeting organization fundraising goals.* Identify event venues, complete cost comparisons and make recommendations to Development Committee.* Work with the Director of Accounting to develop and manage event budgets and financial reporting.* Based on cost and market trend, produce suggested event sponsorship packages with the Director of Development.* Manage consultants, vendors, volunteers, and speakers prior to and during the event to ensure flawless efficiency.* Manage and implement all marketing benefits for each sponsor per event in partnership with the Director of Development.* Work with the Director of Development to create a marketing strategy per event.* Ownership of event ticketing online site.* Management of CRC event volunteer program* Develop and execute the auction item solicitation process for the Annual Tech with Heart Gala and Coalition Cup Golf Tournament.* Support the CEO in the stewardship of external event committees to secure members, sponsorships, and in-kind gifts.* Update staff members and other involved parties throughout the event cycle.* Lead on evaluating events post-event.
