Terran Orbital is currently seeking a talented and growth-minded Director of Marketing to join its growing Marketing team. This position will be responsible for the smooth implementation and operations of the Marketing Department. It will collaborate with the business team to uncover insights and strategies to develop and implement marketing and branding strategies for new and existing products, internally and externally You will work on the design, implementation and maintenance of our company's branding to protect Terran Orbital's image. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in marketing and a proven track record of successfully integrating marketing and branding strategies. This position will report to the CEO and is an incredible opportunity to help lead and support the outcome of a major commercial space capability and lead the implementation of a Marketing Department in a great company. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and execute the overall marketing strategy to create awareness of the company's products and services
Lead and oversee the marketing department including management of marketing budget, consistently identifying revenue opportunities
Organize and oversee company conferences, trade shows, major events, and promotional events
Represent the company and form strategic partnerships with media, oversee public relations efforts, and writing press releases
Build and manage effective demand generation campaigns to support future growth through new business
Identify short-term and long-term scheduling, budget, and resource needs, including the development and management of an annual marketing budget, profit/loss projections, expenditure spending, and other financial considerations
Understand key marketing performance metrics and tracking tools to provide market research, forecasts, competitive analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends in order to translate results into actionable insights for marketing team
Create and manage advertising campaigns including drafting creative and copy
Report on business results from demand generation activities
Oversee social media marketing strategy and content marketing
Create marketing materials including product guides, case studies, and white papers
Additional tasks as needed Requirements QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field
Experience in aerospace, technology, government or commercial space companies
10 years of related work experience
Established portfolio of media and PR contacts
Experience in marketing and running a marketing team
Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
Proven marketing campaign experience
Effective time management skills and the ability to multitask
Strong copywriting skills
Attention to detail
Proven ability to manage budgets
Professional and proactive work ethic
High competence in project and stakeholder management
Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
Experience with digital marketing forms such as social media marketing and content marketing
Competency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite including: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
