Job Description:

Vice President of Sales for a national corporation in the Boca Raton area. In this role you will provide the overall direction and leadership to sales (both outside and inside sales) personnel within the area of responsibility to achieve sales goals within the sales expense budget. Be part of the Executive management team by understanding and managing the sales role in achieving revenue, profit and retention goals. The successful candidate must have logistics sales / consumer services experience. This is a DIRECT HIRE position and is available IMMEDIATELY!! This is a HYBRID role so the successful candidate must be able to go into the office 3 days a week. RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepare a business plan to identify how the Area/Regions will achieve the assigned sales goals Manage all sales personnel and set-up expense budget objectives Work closely with direct reports to implement the Business Plan for the area and each region Meet monthly with each Sales Executive to review sales and expense performance while assessing the coaching, counseling, motivation and leadership skills of each Sales Executive Review Corporate lead generating activities and determine region's results Bring to the attention of Sales and Marketing the needs of the marketplace Attain or exceed 100% of assigned sales quota within required product mix Establish a Prospective Business Report or Master Prospect List accurately forecasting accounts that will close Responsible for human resource management activities for the company such as the maintenance of proper staffing levels, fulfillment of desired employee retention rates, harmonious employee relations, monitoring performance management plans, and incorporating excellent employee communication channels Input to Major Accounts Sales Operations what issues need to be addressed, and recommend solutions QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's in Marketing or Business Administration. Master's degree is a plus 7-10 years total sales experience plus substantial senior sales management experience, with a proven ability to build and manage a sales team (both outside and inside sales) Outstanding leadership skills, professionalism and business planning capability Partners with management and operations to achieve sales, revenue, profit and client retention objectives Exceptional communications (verbal and written) is vitally essential Strong proficiency in MS Office including ExcelJob Type: Full-timePay: $175,000.00 - $200,000.00 per yearBenefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insuranceSchedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Weekend availabilitySupplemental pay types: Bonus pay
