Overview
Summary: - -This position will report to the Senior Director of Talent Acquisition. - Responsible to lead, coach, drive and inspire a regionally based Talent Acquisition team to deliver talent acquisition solutions for your assigned regional properties located throughout the US. -This leadership position will collaborate with the fellow Regional Talent Acquisition Director to help develop, create and ensure the execution of Morgan Properties' Talent Acquisition programs within their assigned geographically region. -
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


  • Partner with Sr. Director of HR/Talent Acquisition and Regional Director, TA to develop, drive and implement a company-wide talent acquisition strategy, including all recruitment advertising, messaging, social media, employment branding, college & military recruiting.

    • Design and implement an effective campus recruiting strategy at local universities and technical trades schools to build Morgan Properties employment brand and new graduate hiring, internship and apprenticeship programs.
    • Assist in fostering diversity and inclusion best practices in all aspects of selection, assessment, and hiring.

    • Collaborate with Sr. Director of HR/TA and marketing department to develop and execute an employment brand strategy with a focus on creating an online / social media presence as well as career fair materials.
    • Partner with Area Vice Presidents, Regional Managers and Talent Acquisition Specialists to develop recruiting strategies for property positions in hard to fill markets or hard to fill positions.
    • Directly supervises a team of Talent Acquisition professionals including up to 5 direct reports.
    • Develop, mentor, inspire and lead a team of Talent Acquisition professionals to meet departmental and company goals; deliver excellent customer service and exceptional candidate experience.
    • Ensure the assigned Talent Acquisition team is building relationships with hiring managers to ensure proper selection criterions are being utilized.
    • Coach and develop your Talent Acquisition team to create proactive sourcing tactics that ensure a talent pipeline to meet expected position openings, as well as multi-position openings for new acquisitions. Support new market talent acquisition needs on as needed basis. -
    • Coach, mentor and develop your Talent Acquisition team to create and implement recruiting strategies to achieve hiring plans that emphasize quality hires, process efficiency, and high touch ownership of the full lifecycle recruitment process.
    • Participate in industry networking activities to develop relationships, build employment brands and identify potential sourcing opportunities.
    • Ensure timely and accurate communication of employment related metrics to identify issues and trends, from ensuring accurate data entry to data analysis. Advise Sr. HR/TA director and leadership on trends and resolution strategies.
    • Conduct market analysis and utilize market intelligence to deliver best-in-class practices for the end-to-end process of sourcing, screening, interviewing, selecting and onboarding new hires and share best practices with entire talent acquisition organization.
    • Manage two to three large-scale projects that impact the enterprise as we optimize the talent acquisition operating model.

      Bachelor's degree required; 3-5 years of Experience in Talent Acquisition, HR or Operations. - Ability to work in a fast-pace environment with a minimum of 3 years of leading people. - Exhibits strong project management and organizational skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization. -
