OVERVIEW:

SPC applies its expertise to help institutional investors achieve their required return, risk, and duration objectives.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day functioning of the servicing department and improve processes when necessary
• Monitor the monthly compliance reporting to ensure the reports are issued timely and are in compliance. Identify and resolve any compliance issues in a timely manner.
• Use data to better control operating costs and implement updated procedures/policies in order to reach quality targets and service expectations
• Assist with account reconciliation and GL coding as needed
• Oversee the preparation and posting of payment deposits
• Complete daily/weekly/monthly reporting requirements
• Monitor work volumes and forecast for future needs
• Handle servicing related AUP audits and provide audit support for the corporate audit.
• Ensure reporting, collections, draws, payoffs, and extensions meet our requirements
• Implement strategies to minimize the risk of loss. Evaluate, execute and track progress of strategies for the asset classes
• Measure and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction across all provided services. Support the broader management team.
  
  Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
  
  
  • Advanced knowledge of the entire structured settlement life cycle not necessarily - mortgage experience may be acceptable
  • Proven success in implementing productivity tracking for team or team members
  • Superb supervision, customer service, communications, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • High level of customer service skills and professional integrity
  • Maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate constant leadership
  • Comfortable juggling multiple tasks at once in a rapidly changing environment
  • Keen attention to detail and passionate about helping others achieve their goals
  • Technical acumen
    
    Education And Experience
    
    
    • Bachelor's degree (4-year college) required; MBA preferred
    • 5+ years in servicing structured settlements or mortgages or similar assets
    • 5+ years of experience in asset/portfolio management and specialty
