Job Description:
The Sr Director of Global Sourcing will be an integral part of
the HA Global Finished Goods Sourcing strategy. This position will
lead, manage, and champion the development of new Asian suppliers
outside of China in coordination with the HK sourcing office.
Initially responsible to lead development of FG suppliers outside
of Asia, including supplier relocations, new supplier development
or kit programs (in coordination with manufacturing). The objective
is to reduce impact of freight and duties on our products and
improve lead-time response to customer orders. Development of a
strategy to source Buyer based in Turkey and other potential
sourcing roles will report into this role. With exposure to BU
senior leadership, this role will facilitate the development of
innovation products through a close connection with R&D and the
marketing teams. The role will lead development of strategic
relationships with suppliers and implement processes, tools, and
training to drive accuracy, efficiency, and accountability in all
aspects if the supplier performance. This position will influence
key decision-making processes regarding supplier selection.
