About the role: As a Network Engineer, you'll play a vital role at 626. We are looking for an individual that can help us continually monitor, improve and enhance our networking backbone, working collaboratively internally, with customers and with vendor partners. We are looking for someone who is a self-starter who works well in a team environment, with vendors and as a single contributor. You will be responsible for all aspects of managing the enterprise network. Responsibilities * Manage and configure Palo Alto Networks firewalls, B2B VPN tunnels, and other security devices * Monitor network and security systems to ensure their optimal performance and availability * Develop and maintain firewall rules to secure the organization's network * Respond to security incidents and threats in a timely manner * Migrate existing firewalls to Palo Alto Networks devices and Panorama * Work with the IT leadership team to implement new network and security solutions * Collaborate with other IT professionals to troubleshoot technical issues * Keep up to date with the latest developments in network and security technologies * Occasional tasks outside of the scope of network management, such as phone setup or email support Qualifications and BackgroundRequired : * At least 5 years of experience with Palo Alto Networks devices and Panorama * Preferred Healthcare IT background and familiarity with medical imaging related protocols, such as DICOM, HIS/RIS, etc. * Strong understanding of network and security protocols * Knowledge of security best practices and industry standards * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Good written and verbal communication skills * Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure * Certifications in Palo Alto Networks technologies (e.g. PCNSE) are a plus * Experience with AWS is a plus Desirable : * Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field * Networking Certification * Cyber Security certification Work Environment * This job operates in a professional office setting-nonremote Physical Demands * The physical requirements that are essential to perform this job are Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Health savings account * Life insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance 626 OPCO LLC provides employment opportunities to all individuals regardless of race, color, age, religion, sex (including pregnancy and gender identity), national origin, sexual orientation, marital status, disability or genetic information. * Please note that this job description is not a complete and comprehensive list of duties and responsibilities that are required of the employee.
