The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advanced financial analysis and reporting, coordinating year-end close processes, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financials. This position is a key role within our finance department and will play an integral part in our financial planning and decision-making processes.This is a hybrid role, enjoying 3 days in our beautiful office and 2 days remote. The ideal Senior Analyst is someone with 5+ years of experience in accounting, ideally having experience in a large public firm, has or is working towards CPA and looking for growth in their career. Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.2. Perform complex financial analysis to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.3. Coordinate year-end close processes, including the preparation of annual financial statements and audit schedules.4. Maintain the integrity of financial data by ensuring that all financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely.5. Collaborate with other departments to gather and analyze financial information for strategic planning and decision-making.6. Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures to enhance the workflow of the finance department.7. Provide financial expertise and advice to senior management to aid in their decision-making processes.8. Conduct financial modeling to support strategic initiatives and business planning.9. Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget and forecast, providing detailed reports and recommendations to management.10. Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification would be a plus.2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis and reporting.3. Strong knowledge of year-end close processes and preparation of financial statements.4. Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.5. Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.6. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.7. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information in a clear and concise manner.8. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.9.
