MDG is hiring! We are seeking an experienced Head of Social Media to join the team!What you'll do:

• 
  
• Lead in the development of clients' social media campaign objectives based on larger strategic imperatives and brand goals
  
• Oversees the strategy as it relates to targeting, keyword research, ad copy development, and KPIs with consideration for campaign outcomes beyond deep content engagement and conversion
  
• Utilize social audience and consumer research and insights to develop approach and tactics that meets business goals
  
• Suggest to clients the correct approach to best reach business objectives through social media, acting as a trusted leader in the face of internal and external teams
  
• Proactively identifies opportunities for optimization and expansion
  
• Collaborates with internal departments to establish and evolve search and/or social capability offerings, strategies and processes
  
• Trains and mentors direct reports to establish knowledge of social processes and best practices in social channels
  
• Cultivating a deep knowledge of social media behaviors across consumer segments, platforms and vertices, used to inform how MDG's clients advertise and engage across channels
  
• Ability to proactively solve problems, improve processes, create efficiencies, and contribute to POVs and team thought leadership
  
  
  
  Requirements
  
  • 
    
  • Bachelor degree in marketing or advertising or related field is required
    
  • 8+ years of experience in social media strategy, including paid management, social content strategy, organic, profile management, and analytics across multiple platforms
    
  • Tactful and diplomatic communication skills; internal, external, formal and informal written, and verbal
    
  • Must be willing to go above and beyond to ensure client;s issues and requests are sufficiently resolved
    
  • Manages multiple tasks and tight deadlines with confidence and ease
    
  • Organized and pays attention to every detail
    
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
    
  • Experience managing and growing social media accounts
