Manages field-marketing services for company collection centers
including advertising, promotion, recruitment, and center support
activities. Facilitates center donor recruitment and retention
activities along with donor advertising and promotional
Facilitates collection center and regional promotional materials in
accordance to overall business vision and best practices
opportunities. Partners daily with management and peers to
accomplish goals including ongoing assessment of budget as relates
to center liter production, donor repeatability, donor
acceptance/rejection, conversion rates, cost structures,
promotional campaigns and other identifiable metrics.
Develops, executes and implements national corporate marketing
campaigns and growth strategies in conjunction with operational
objectives. Works closely with Operations management to meet
Facilitates implementation of promotional materials including
creation, timelines, training of internal stakeholders and managing
promotional life cycle.
Evaluates effectiveness of marketing and advertising strategies
including development of program success metrics, evaluation
criteria, feedback mechanisms and Return on Investment
Works with external media agencies to develop and execute
advertisements and analyze the effectiveness of targeted strategy
campaign. Builds effective working relationships with key external
customers, including thought leaders and patient advocacy groups.
Oversees local media placements for all collection centers.
Directs all graphic designers and marketing teams on all
production, creation and design of marketing materials.
Provides facilitation and strategic input for business development
Coordinates center activities with public relations, community
relations and corporate communications functions within company.
Utilizes marketing assets including new donor recruitment
resources, lapse donor recruitment resources, donor repeatability,
donor loyalty and customer service materials.
Other job-related duties as assigned.
High School diploma required. BA degree in business, marketing or
related field or equivalent combination of relevant work experience
and education required
Minimum of two (2) years of direct marketing experience or on-site
collection center experience required
Experience in recruitment and retention of blood donors or other
Working Conditions (physical & mental requirements):
Understands complex problems to collaborate and explore alternative
Ability to make decisions which have significant impact on the
immediate work unit and monitor impact outside immediate work
Ability to compose materials such as detailed reports, work-related
manuals, publications to limited scope or impact, etc. and/or to
make presentations outside the immediate work area
Overnight travel required up to 30% of the time
Fast paced environment with frequent interruptions
