Position Summary:
Reporting to the Audit Manager of Information Technology, the Senior IT Auditor is an experienced auditor position within Internal Audit. The Senior IT Auditor will be responsible for the timely execution of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) IT audit procedures, as well as high quality, risk-based audits of technology infrastructure, information security, business applications system, and significant projects. The Senior IT Auditor will interact with IT, financial and operational management personnel across the company. The position will also be responsible for assisting with the development of staff IT Auditors, as well assisting with the review of work performed by outside consultants/advisors, as needed. A demonstrated understanding and background of IT audit and general business knowledge is required.
Objectives & Responsibilities:

• Assist with the execution of the audit strategy based on the approved audit plan, under the oversight of the Manager, covering the business-critical systems, controls, processes, and supporting infrastructure.
  
• Assist with the execution of the annual IT SOX controls internal audit program, including the coaching and development of staff IT Auditors.
  
• Identify and clearly define audit issues and root causes, recommend improved internal controls and processes, and ensure that corrective action plans are developed and implemented. Present clear and concise findings to Internal Audit leadership and the IT management team.
  
• Develop strong, professional, and independent relationships with internal stakeholders.

  • Review and evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of Internal Controls.
    
  • Provide effective recommendations and solutions to issues identified during the audit.
    
  • Actively participate in initiatives aimed at improving Internal Audit's processes and procedures.
    
  • Participate in operational audits and special projects.
    
    Education/Work Experience Required:
    
    • 
      
    • Bachelor's degree required and/or master's degree preferred (coursework in areas of study, including but not limited to computer science or engineering, management information systems, business, accounting, or finance).
      
    • 3+ years related experience in an audit role. Big 4 experience preferred.
      
    • Certification preferred (i.e., CIA, CISA, CISM, CISSP).
      
    • Strong understanding of core technology domains required, including software development life cycle, Windows and UNIX OS, database management systems (MS SQL, Oracle, DB2), cloud computing systems (including Software as a Service "SaaS" and other vendor-hosted solutions), basic networking infrastructure (i.e., firewalls), and basic robotic process automation (UiPath). Experience with cloud ERP and GRC/audit software preferred.
      
    • Project management experience with the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
      
    • Possess a high energy level and strong work ethic with a commitment to continuous improvement in a dynamic and changing environment that strives to exceed expectations.
      
    • Possess the drive to quickly gain working knowledge and understanding of ADT policies and procedures.
      
    • Possess strong interpersonal and team skills, as well as presentation and communications skills (written and oral), with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
      
    • Ability to blend exceptional attention to detail with an ability to retain strategic direction within a rapidly evolving entrepreneurial business culture.
      
    • Travel up to 10%.
