Our client's mission is to provide professional and collegiate teams with game-changing insights about their most valuable asset: their athletes. KinaTrax delivers research-grade markerless motion capture technology that allows teams to collect in-game biomechanical performance data on their players. Opportunity:Our client is currently seeking a highly motivated candidate to lead the implementation, management, and growth of accounting and finance. The Director of Accounting and Finance will be an immediate impact player responsible for collaborating with leaders across the organization. Familiarity within a start-up environment, the Director will be integral in creating process, as well as utilizing financial data to inform on business decisions at the highest level. Roles & Responsibilities:

• Oversee the accounts receivable functions of the company including invoicing, payment processing, ageing, collections, reconciliations, and cash management. and work closely to generate invoices while ensuring accuracy and timeliness of the invoicing process; manage aging, collections, and update leadership on monthly cash flow.
  
• Manage the daily/weekly check, wire transfer, credit card, and ACH runs for vendor payments and implement mechanisms for such actions if needed.
  
• General Ledger management including review and post journal entries, review account reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, and research and adjust discrepancies to complete the month-end close process.
  
• Preparation of revenue and expenditure forecasts, variance analysis and commentary in accordance with the agreed corporate timetable for senior management review.
  
• Proactively identify areas to improve business profitability by leveraging cost models and analysis to reduce cost and improve product margin.
  
• Responsible for the compilation of the annual budget in conjunction with the Director of Operations.
  
• Own all process creations related to systems onboarding to include QuickBooks maintenance, as well as leading the charge in future financial platform selections.
  
• Develop, execute, and implement complex negotiation initiatives, while ensuring that risks are mitigated, and decisions are supported by financial insights.
  
• Cultivate and manage external banking and vendor relationships; serve as spokesperson for KinaTrax to stakeholders in the financial services and business community, as necessary.
  
  Key Qualifications:
  
  • 
    
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance Required, advanced degree or certification preferred.
    
  • Experience with SOP creation, process improvements, and systems implementations
    
  • Experience with QuickBooks, SAP Concur, Excel and ability to navigate new accounting software platforms.
    
  • Experience in a multifaceted seat with responsibilities directly effecting strategic business planning.
